About

Bethany Quinn is a serial entrepreneur, recruiter, and strategist with over 15 years of professional experience. Her superpowers include networking and connecting people to the right opportunities. Whether you’re looking for a VR producer, dozens of machine operators, or an oyster shucker, she can help you find who you’re looking for.

She works with companies of all sizes on strategy, recruitment, business development, and a little bit of a lot of other things. She started her first company, the Backyard Theater, when she was nine years old, and since then has launched a kids clothing company, a tech-enabled venture fund incubator which aimed to move the needle on diversity in early-stage investment, and a web series called Quinntersectional Conversations. She was also a founding board member of Resolve Network, a peace-building organization in Eastern Congo that runs microfinance, agricultural training, and other programs, was the founding Chief Operating Officer at media company Rediscovering Our American Dream, and is a member of Mensa.

Bethany has an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on entrepreneurship and finance and a B.A. from the University of Miami with a major in Latin American Studies. She studied abroad in Panama, Brazil, and Chile. At Hopkins, she ran their startup club, and did a fellowship at SoGal Ventures, a female millennial-led venture capital firm. In the decade between the two, she worked for a union on legislation and corporate campaigns, working on everything from the Affordable Care Act to immigration reform to private equity firm engagement. During her tenure at the union, she evaluated, developed, and taught technology, managed numerous story databases, and managed trainings preparing members to tell Congress their stories, as well as a range of other things.

She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, loves to cook and travel, and is an avid karaoke fan.
